Minimum – Midpoint – Maximum

$33.67 – $38.70 – $45.77

Location: Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA
Schedule: Part‑Time | 24 Hours per Week | Night Shift

Sign‑On Bonus: Up to $3,000 for eligible external hires

You will provide essential cardiopulmonary care under physician supervision, treating patients with a variety of respiratory conditions. You’ll apply clinical knowledge, diagnostic tools, and therapeutic techniques to deliver patient‑centered care in both routine and critical situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosol, humidity, and both invasive and non‑invasive mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient progress, assess responses to treatment, and adjust plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as blood gas analysis and EKGs.
• Respond to emergency calls (Code Blue, Rapid Response) and provide immediate support.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of respiratory equipment, following all safety and infection control protocols.
• Support discharge planning and patient education on respiratory home care.

Education:

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

• All levels of experience are welcome to apply
• One or more years of clinical experience preferred

Licensure/Certification:

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
• Current CPR certification required
