DUTIES:

• Under general supervision, independently performs various student related technical duties related to receiving and processing student information into the student information system, district intranet and student assessment verification.
• Responsible to the Building Principal and will work collaboratively with the Site Coordinator.
• Enter data into various systems in order to maintain proper and accurate records.
• Maintain discretion when working with teachers, counselors, administrators, students, and parents.
• Foster a positive learning environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High Diploma or equivalent (GED), or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Have adequate technology skills to effectively navigate the district’s Student Information System (Power School).
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, principals/administrators and other teachers orally and in writing.
• Experience working with students who have experienced educational disengagement.
• Ability to work effectively and have a good understanding of the interests and needs of the district’s most at risk students.
• Experience in working collaboratively in schools and instructional programs.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced diverse educational setting.
• Computer literacy required.
• Exhibit organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Bi‑lingual preferred.
