Adjunct/Per Course Faculty-History (Spring 2026)

Missouri State University is accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty to establish a pool of available candidates for potential courses in the applicable semester. There may not be a current opening. Applications and transcripts are evaluated prior to selection of interviewees. To receive full consideration, include all documents requested by the department. • Position Title: Adjunct/Per Course Faculty-History (Spring 2026)
• Work Location: Springfield Campus
• Term: Spring Semester (per course faculty only)
• Begin Date: 01/12/2026 (Spring Term)
• Maximum Credit Hours per Course: 12 Credit Hours per 12 Month Period – Springfield Campus

The successful applicant will teach U.S. History and World History courses, both seated and online. Qualified applicants may also supervise student teachers and/or teach history education classes.

Adjunct/Per Course Faculty should possess a master’s degree or the equivalent professional experience in a field determined acceptable by the Dean.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
