Adjunct/Per Course Faculty-History (Spring 2026)
Missouri State University is accepting applications for Adjunct Faculty to establish a pool of available candidates for potential courses in the applicable semester. There may not be a current opening. Applications and transcripts are evaluated prior to selection of interviewees. To receive full consideration, include all documents requested by the department. Official transcripts may be required at time of hire to comply with reporting requirements for Missouri Law.
- Position Title: Adjunct/Per Course Faculty-History (Spring 2026)
- Work Location: Springfield Campus
- Term: Spring Semester (per course faculty only)
- Begin Date: 01/12/2026 (Spring Term)
- Maximum Credit Hours per Course: 12 Credit Hours per 12 Month Period – Springfield Campus
The successful applicant will teach U.S. History and World History courses, both seated and online. Qualified applicants may also supervise student teachers and/or teach history education classes.
Minimum Acceptable QualificationsAdjunct/Per Course Faculty should possess a master’s degree or the equivalent professional experience in a field determined acceptable by the Dean.
Additional QualificationsApplicants must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
