Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our organization. • The Hospital Medicine Division at Baystate Health consists of over 250 dedicated physicians & APPs practicing evidence-based medicine throughout our 4 hospitals in western MA.
• Baystate Medical Center, our 716-bed flagship hospital in Springfield MA, is a level 1 trauma center and tertiary care center. Our hospitalists also provide services at our community hospitals which are within a 20–45-minute radius.
• We offer a 3 on/4 off schedule, 12-hour shifts with rotational Saturday coverage. Excellent support from swing shift, APP cross coverage and specialty services.
• Our hospitalists are responsible for more than 40,000 discharges annually system wide across all medical and surgical subspecialties, accounting for more than 250,000 encounters throughout our four hospitals.
