Phone Operator

Pay Rate: $19 - $20/Hour
Duties:

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate communication systems, such as telephone and switchboard
• Answer incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls and/or taking messages as necessary
• Route emergency calls appropriately
• Relay and route written and verbal messages
• Contact security staff members when necessary

• Possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Exhibits exceptional Customer Service skills
• Applies basic production, operational, administrative skills in procedures, techniques and/or equipment
• Follows written or verbal instructions or procedures
• Can apply knowledge to handle routine problems but often seeks guidance with unfamiliar situations
• Routinely performs work of limited scope and authority to make decisions that instructions and procedures will allow
