A well-established, family-owned import and distribution company is seeking a dedicated hands-on Office Manager to serve as the right hand to ownership. This key position ensures daily operations run smoothly in a fast-paced, collaborative warehouse/office environment.

They are looking for someone intuitive, loyal, hardworking, and eager to learn, someone who takes initiative and thrives in a small, tight-knit team setting.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • $30–35/hour DOE
  • Temp-to-hire
  • Non-benefited position (paid holidays and sick time only; no medical/dental benefits)
  • Quick Books assessment required
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary support to the owner, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth communication and workflow
  • Oversee daily office operations within a combined warehouse/office environment
  • Manage invoicing and accounts receivable using Quick Books Desktop
  • Provide administrative support (phones, email, documentation)
  • Prepare and process bills of lading and shipping/receiving paperwork
  • Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and brokers
  • Assist with order tracking, inventory coordination, and issue resolution
  • Maintain records and reports using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Support team members and contribute wherever needed
Qualifications
  • Proven office management experience, preferably in distribution, logistics, or a related industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Quick Books Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with shipping documentation (bills of lading preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, small-office setting
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset
