Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while partnering closely with leadership to strengthen financial processes and reporting. This role blends hands-on accounting with team leadership and process improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both execution and strategy.

• Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory accounting

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Partner with operations to understand manufacturing costs and drive improvements

• Assist with audits, tax filings, and external reporting

• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff as the team grows

• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles

• Experience with ERP systems and Excel
