The RoleThe Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while partnering closely with leadership to strengthen financial processes and reporting. This role blends hands-on accounting with team leadership and process improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both execution and strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory accounting
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Partner with operations to understand manufacturing costs and drive improvements
Assist with audits, tax filings, and external reporting
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff as the team grows
Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
Experience with ERP systems and Excel
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a growing, evolving environment
