As a Senior Analyst Software Development Engineer, you will participate in an Agile Product Team of 6‑10 people and work with the team to build high‑quality, usable products for customers and stakeholders in the Claims and Payments team (Aetna). You will help create products from discovery and framing through iterative development and delivery. You will also maintain a user‑centered and business‑as‑priority approach in design perspective and practice.

A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role. The candidate should be able to develop both frontend and backend code utilizing industry best practices, delivering efficient, optimized, user‑friendly, and reusable code.

• 3+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications
• 3+ years of experience as full‑stack developer in Java‑based technologies including microservices, FAST API and Spring Boot framework /REST
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies like Azure, GCP or other public cloud services and knowledge of open‑source packages especially those provided by Google
• 2+ years of experience in React, React Type Script, React JS, Python, Nodejs or other front‑end frameworks; ability to develop effective engineering practices and processes with responsive UI design and development
• 3+ years of experience in Agile development practices

• Experience with emerging cloud platform technologies such as Google Cloud, GKE, Google DBs (Big Query, Spanner, Big Table) or other PaaS technologies
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork
• Adept at problem solving and decision‑making skills
• Growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

Bachelor’s degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. Will accept High School diploma and equivalent experience in lieu of degree (2 years of professional work experience for every year of college not completed in addition to the required years of experience).

The typical pay range for this role is: $79,310.00 – $.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
