• Perform intake services
• Perform custody services
• Plan, implement, and evaluate programming on the shift

• Minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college, university, or community college, preferably concentrations in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, social work, or related social sciences
• Or a high school diploma with at least two years of prior employment in law enforcement or experience in a residential care, specialized care, or detention facility
• Applicant must be 21 years of age or older
• Applicant must be on the Administrative Office of Illinois Courts hiring eligibility list at the time of employment offer
• Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a criminal and DCFS background check as well as a drug screening
• Ability to work on any shift

• Ability and desire to work with delinquent youth in a secure detention setting that may require physical restraint of minors
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system

Annual salary: $57,509.00
