Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and alteration of refrigeration systems and related equipment/facilities
• Familiar with start-up and shut-down processes in production plants
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical components with the meter when equipment is down
• Perform PMs, maintain all assigned equipment and systems, and ensure all systems are performing in a safe and functional manner at all times
• Repair and maintain all assigned systems/equipment throughout the plant, ensuring they operate according to the required standards
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance activities and conduct repairs on all assigned systems/equipment

Qualifications:

• Ammonia refrigeration experience or refrigeration experience
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with air compressors and associated control systems
• Good communication skills to ensure timely repairs of equipment and issues that arise
• 3+ years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of EPA regulations
• Knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and compressors
• Ammonia refrigeration troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to work in a wide variety of temperatures
• Will be required to work weekends as needed to meet customer needs
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Company vehicle, phone, and laptop provided

Compensation:

$35+ hourly DOE
