As a Business Development Manager
, you will lead aggressive growth initiatives across regional and national grocery accounts. Your mandate is simple:

🔥 What You’ll Own Revenue Growth & Market Expansion- Drive top-line revenue and gross margin growth across assigned grocery accounts.
- Expand SKU distribution, secure incremental shelf placement, and execute promotional strategies that move volume.
- Develop and execute account-specific growth strategies that outperform category benchmarks.
- Identify and close new national/regional grocery chains, independent grocers, and specialty retailers.
- Open doors, pitch buyers, negotiate programs, and convert opportunities into long-term revenue streams.
- Maintain an active, disciplined sales pipeline.
- Build strong relationships with grocery buyers and category managers
- Present data-backed growth proposals using syndicated data and internal sales analytics.
- Position our portfolio as a category growth driver—not just another vendor.
- Monitor pricing shifts, competitive activity, and retail trends in the national grocery landscape.
- React quickly and strategically to protect and expand shelf presence.
- Drive promotional planning that delivers measurable ROI.
✔ 5+ years of proven success in CPG grocery sales (required)
✔ Experience calling on grocery buyers, distributors, or regional chains
✔ Track record of growing revenue, expanding distribution, and hitting or exceeding quotas
✔ Comfortable negotiating pricing, programs, and trade spend
✔ Strong understanding of food safety standards, HACCP, and food distribution
✔ Highly self-motivated, competitive, and performance-oriented
✔ Strong analytical skills (Excel proficiency required)
✔ Able to travel ~40%
