Assistant Manager(02840) - 544 W Jefferson St
Domino's Pizza is seeking an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our 544 W Jefferson St location in Springfield, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and motivate team members to maintain high standards of service and productivity
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and friendly manner
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Assist in training and developing new team members
- Run shifts efficiently, including delegating tasks and managing employee schedules
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement marketing strategies and achieve sales goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in food preparation and delivery as needed
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong math and problem‑solving skills for effective money management and inventory control
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in store operations management and employee scheduling
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for managing orders and inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in food service or retail management (preferred)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices (preferred)
What are we looking for?
- Experience leading a team; manage a staff of 3 to 30 people, using motivation and team orientation to achieve goals
- A clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. You must have reliable, insured transportation and a valid driver’s license
- A great role model – punctuality, positive attitude, and professional appearance set the tone for the team
- Stores are open 365 days a week; you must be willing to work during peak periods, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
