Domino's Pizza is seeking an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our 544 W Jefferson St location in Springfield, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Manage and motivate team members to maintain high standards of service and productivity
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and friendly manner
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Assist in training and developing new team members
  • Run shifts efficiently, including delegating tasks and managing employee schedules
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement marketing strategies and achieve sales goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Assist in food preparation and delivery as needed
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Strong math and problem‑solving skills for effective money management and inventory control
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency in store operations management and employee scheduling
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills for managing orders and inventory systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience in food service or retail management (preferred)
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices (preferred)
Additional Information

  • Experience leading a team; manage a staff of 3 to 30 people, using motivation and team orientation to achieve goals
  • A clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. You must have reliable, insured transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • A great role model – punctuality, positive attitude, and professional appearance set the tone for the team
  • Stores are open 365 days a week; you must be willing to work during peak periods, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old
