• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy medical‑surgical unit.
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and document care activities accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies, escalating as needed.
• Manage and maintain IV therapies, including port and central line care, and administer chemotherapy per protocol.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.

• Active Illinois RN license in hand or in the application process.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical‑surgical nursing experience.
• Experience with IV therapy and infusion skills, including port access and medication administration.
• Ability to work 12‑hour day shifts comfortably.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.

• Oncology experience, including chemotherapy administration.
• Chemotherapy certification (preferred but not required).
• OCN and ONS/ONCC certification (preferred).
• Strong charting experience with Cerner system.

• Floating within hospital or nearby affiliates is mandatory.
• Local candidates are accepted.

• Must complete all compliance documentation within the designated timelines.

$2,394 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
