Telemetry Registered Nurse (Travel RN) – Springfield, IL. 13-week assignment in an Intermediate Care Unit (cardiac telemetry); active Illinois RN license and ACLS/BLS required. Join a collaborative healthcare team providing high-quality patient care on 12-hour night shifts.

• Location: Springfield, IL 62769 (Springfield, Illinois healthcare)
• Position: Registered Nurse (Telemetry) / Telemetry RN / Travel Nurse
• Setting: Intermediate Care Unit (Telemetry / Cardiac Telemetry)
• Assignment Type: Travel
• Start Date: March 23, 2026
• End Date: June 21, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC); every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,090 - $2,200/week

• Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand at time of application) — Illinois nursing jobs and travel RN requirements
• Current ACLS and BLS from AHA; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in Telemetry, Intermediate Care Unit, or cardiac monitoring setting (Telemetry RN / cardiac telemetry experience)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
• Time off requests must be submitted at time of application

• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac and other complex conditions using telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; ensure safe medication administration and documentation
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions, including escalation for acute cardiac events
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely manner
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment plans, and self-management for cardiac conditions and other telemetry-related issues
