Immediate openings are available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested in geriatric psychiatry.
Position DetailsThis position can be full-time or part-time, offering flexible daytime hours, no weekends or on-call, and a focus on patient-centered care. The role involves on-the-road work with no specified maximum hours.
Qualifications- Valid NP or PA license
- DEA registration
- Experience in mental health care delivery, especially with geriatric populations
- Preferred: at least 1 year working with geriatric mental health and familiarity with Medicare standards
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating primarily elderly patients in various facilities
- Prescribing medications
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Role does not include psychological therapy
