Head Logistics Procurement; Transport & Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for transportation (FTL, LTL, intermodal) and warehousing (ambient, temperature-controlled, value‑added services).
• Drive value creation through cost optimization, demand management, supplier consolidation, and TCO/should‑cost analysis.
• Lead strategic supplier management, including selection, qualification, performance reviews, and innovation initiatives.
• Manage sourcing processes such as RFPs, RFQs, contract negotiations, pricing structures, and SLAs.
• Partner closely with operations, quality, engineering, EHS, and maintenance to ensure category strategies support site and regional needs.
• Lead and develop the logistics sourcing team, providing direction, coaching, and capability building.
• Act as escalation point for supplier performance issues, commercial disputes, and continuity risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards across all logistics partners.
• Drive continuous improvement through market insights, benchmarking, and process enhancements.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7+ years of strategic sourcing or category management experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, pharma, or industrial environments.
• Strong experience managing transportation and warehousing categories across multiple sites or regions.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within procurement or category teams.
• Proven track record of negotiations, cost savings delivery, and supplier management.
• Skilled in navigating matrixed environments and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including TCO modeling, benchmarking, and should‑cost practices.
• Execution‑focused, structured, resilient, and comfortable in fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
