Recruitment Consultant - Technical Operations

An industry leading organization in plastics manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Plant Manager to direct the manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across all departments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee plant operations to ensure production meets quality, safety, and customer standards.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive performance and accountability.
• Manage inventory, staffing, and scheduling to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards; maintain a clean, inspection-ready facility.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and support process improvement efforts.
• Coordinate capital equipment recommendations, process changes, and facility upgrades.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to customer specifications and packaging standards.
• Support hiring, training, and performance evaluations to build a strong, capable workforce.

Leadership & Skills:

• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams toward continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience developing training programs for exempt and non-exempt staff.
• Ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on shared goals.
• Skilled in using data and investigation to support decision-making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
  Lean certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, inventory management, scheduling, and budgeting.
• HACCP and SQF certification preferred.
• Demonstrates safety-first leadership and commitment to regulatory compliance.

Education & Industry Knowledge:

• 10+ years of production leadership experience, including at least 2 years in plant management.
• Experience with blow molding or injection molding is required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
