Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing attractions and arcade games, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:Maintenance & Repairs:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on attractions, arcade, and go-karts for maximum reliability and uptime.
- Perform prompt repairs to minimize downtime and enhance the guest experience.
- Oversee daily appearance and performance checks on go-karts and tracks, reporting any concerns to management.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and ongoing projects.
- Keep up-to-date logs for preventative maintenance as per manufacturer and company standards.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, notifying management of any needs.
- Ensure the pit, kart shop, and track areas are clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safety-focused attitude in all tasks.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
- Communicate daily with team members to coordinate efforts and address any issues.
- Assist with maintaining POS systems, projectors, and other building equipment as needed.
- Stay informed about industry best practices through study, training, and networking.
- Serve as a resource for all attraction-related inquiries and be available for on-call emergencies.
- Perform opening, running, and closing duties for the department as scheduled.
- Prepare attractions throughout the week to ensure smooth weekend operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, assisting with general park cleaning as needed.
- Operate attractions and provide guest support in line with safety and service standards.
- Complete additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with maintenance and repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze situations effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to respond to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong teamwork ethic and positive attitude.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to work up to 45 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
