THERAPIST (MA/MSW) - $10K Sign-On Bonus at Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center

This is an inpatient therapist opportunity. It is a full-time, benefits-eligible position offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The Therapist performs social service functions to assist clients in meeting bio-psycho-social needs and enables access to therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health. Clinical social services include crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, group therapy, discharge planning, basic consultation, teaching, and specialized clinical social services for patients and families receiving care. The Therapist serves as an integral member of the treatment team and is responsible for case management of patients internal and external support systems.

Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center is dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team partners with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

• Strong clinical assessment skills with majority of experience focused on the child/adolescent population
• Must demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in the job description
• Perform bio-psychosocial assessments that inform a multidisciplinary treatment plan
• Education:
  
  Master’s Degree in a mental health/human services field from an accredited college (counseling, social work, psychology) required
• Experience:
  
  Two (2) years’ experience in a behavioral health care facility with direct experience in individual, family and group therapies, crisis intervention and treatment; experience with child/adolescent population
• Licensure/Certification: LCSW/LCPC preferred; certification as alcohol or other drug abuse counselor preferred; CPR certification and current patient aggression management training (including Seclusion and Restraint) within 90 days of employment
