This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Springfield, Illinois Metropolitan Area. The Structural Interventional Cardiologist will provide expert medical care in diagnosing and treating patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities include performing interventional cardiology procedures, working closely in cath labs, participating in collaborative treatment planning, and contributing to advancements in patient care through research and innovation in the field.
The role also involves maintaining high-quality patient care and staying informed on the latest advancements in interventional cardiology.
- Expertise in Interventional Cardiology, including performing interventional procedures and effectively managing cases
- Comprehensive knowledge of Cardiology and Medicine, with skills to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions
- Experience working in a Cath Lab environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care with compassion and clinical expertise
- Board certification in Interventional Cardiology and an active medical license in the state of Illinois are required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to foster collaboration and enhance patient outcomes
- Experience in research or an interest in participating in innovative cardiovascular studies is a plus
