The Teller performs routine transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently and accurately through knowledge of standard operating procedures; and identifies customer needs for bank products & services. The Teller is directly supervised by the Retail Bank Manager.

Salary Range: $16.00-$24.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides high level customer service in person and via telephone to perform routine customer transactional and operational cash responsibilities, i.e deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, safe deposit box entry, etc. as well as balancing Teller drawer, bank vault, and ATM, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fosters relationships with potential and current customers in order to educate and connect them to bank products, services, and technology solutions.
  • Promotes a team environment.
  • Complies with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations; while minimizing risks and protecting confidential customer and bank information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Schedule

Monday - Friday, ranging between 7:15 am & 5:30 pm (working until 5:30 pm about 3 times per week); with rotating Saturdays 7:45 am – 1:00 pm.

Education & Work Experience Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, occasional bending, kneeling, and squatting. Ability to lift 5 lbs. consistently and 30 lbs. occasionally.

Basic math aptitude is required and money handling experience is desired; the ability to exercise judgment is helpful. Strong oral communication, customer service, legible handwriting, and problem-solving skills; and basic computer skills are required. Attention to detail is critical.
