We are currently seeking an experienced and certified Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and certified Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles. As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them, aiming to maximize reliability and functionality. An excellent technician is well-versed in complex mechanical or electronic systems of vehicles and has excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
- Diagnose issues and determine the best course of action.
- Conduct thorough inspections and preventative maintenance services.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and rectify issues.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Current manufacturers designated certification a big plus.
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
- Good communication skills and customer service oriented.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina and strength for handling heavy parts and tools.
- $25.00 - $45.00 hourly flat rate based on experience and qualifications.
