Accounting Senior – Client Accounting & Advisory Services (Nonprofit Industry)
We are seeking an Accounting Senior with experience to join our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) – Nonprofit Industry group located in central Illinois (Peoria IL, Bloomington IL, Dixon IL, or Springfield IL).
Job Responsibilities- Client Service
:
Develop an understanding of each client’s business/organization operations. Manage multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. - Day to Day Transactions
:
Coordinate and process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and posting/recording of payroll transactions. - Month End Processing
:
Coordinate and review account reconciliations (prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals). Complete complex account reconciliations and prepare, understand, and review financial statements. Reviews general ledger, cash flow, allocations, and proactively creates process and procedure documentation. - Other Quarterly/Annual Processing
:
Complete sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepare audit work papers, tax return work papers, and other forms or items as requested by clients. - Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts. Supervise and ensure the efficiency and quality of work produced by Associates and Analysts.
- Special Projects
:
Assist with projects for internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
- 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The compensation range for this position in Illinois: $65,100.00 - $.
