. This seasonal position is based in Central Illinois (Springfield, IL) and offers flexible scheduling.
- $22–$28 per hour, based on experience
- Flexible scheduling available (part-time or full-time)
- Prepare individual and/or business tax returns
- Review client financial information for accuracy and completeness
- Identify tax‑saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding tax matters and filing requirements
- Use professional tax software to prepare and file returns
- Prior experience preparing tax returns (professional or seasonal)
- Strong understanding of federal and Illinois tax regulations
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple returns during peak season
- Client‑focused mindset with strong communication skills
