As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Springdale, AR
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to customer service will create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting a secure environment.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access control points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas, in accordance with location requirements.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance needs to the appropriate Allied Universal and client contacts.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities as required for the location, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to provide guidance on access procedures and location-specific protocols.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
