Open to all Colville Tribal Members who are currently enrolled full‑time students.

SALARY: $21.16, per hour

REPORTS TO: Supervisor determined by placement

Each Intern will receive full supervision and training by qualified program or agency representative.

LOCATION: Determined by placement

Duration: 05/12/2026-9/30/2026. NOT TO EXCEED 680 HOURS.

The Colville Tribes is recruiting twenty‑three (23) full time college students, currently enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary institution to intern in the tribal organization and its affiliates (i.e., CTFC, IHS, BIA), in an internship program not to exceed 680 hours. Interns will participate in a supervised training program related to their major, career goals, and the needs of the placement agency.

Minimum Qualifications
:

• Applicant must be an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation.
• Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary institution at the time of applying.
• Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
• Where specified by the placement program or agency, the applicant must have a declared major in the required field and be enrolled in courses related to major.

Preference will be given to Graduate, Senior, and Junior level applicants.

Note:

Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre‑employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post‑accident drug testing.

TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre‑employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
