Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position in Springdale, AR, requiring 2+ years of telemetry experience and an AR or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Med/Surg Telemetry unit (Floor 10) in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required
- Floating to Med/Surg and Bariatrics units required
- 13-week contract
- Responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to deliver patient care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical leadership in planning and prioritizing safe patient care
- Delegates care responsibilities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- Active AR or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required
- Valid US driver's license required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
