Kingdom and business, a “work as worship” culture within a fast-paced, purpose-driven organization.

The Development Director plays a critical role in advancing PB414’s mission through donor cultivation, stewardship, fundraising strategy, and storytelling. This role serves alongside a heart-forward leadership team committed to stewarding the mission of PB414 for such a time as this to host the Kingdom of God through redemptive, marketplace-driven initiatives.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide executive leadership for PB414’s fundraising and development function, stewarding relationships and resources with integrity, excellence, and a deep commitment to advancing the mission God has entrusted to the organization
  • Design, lead, and execute a comprehensive development strategy that integrates individual giving, major gifts, corporate partnerships, events, grants, and campaigns in service of long-term sustainability and redemptive impact
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors, key partners, and strategic stakeholders, building trust-based relationships rooted in shared purpose, generosity, and vision
  • Lead multi-channel fundraising campaigns and initiatives, including Giving Tuesday, NWA Gives, year-end appeals, and mission-critical special campaigns that invite the community to participate in meaningful Kingdom work
  • Oversee the planning and execution of donor engagement events and experiences that reflect PB414’s values and create moments of connection, testimony, and impact
  • Guide the organization’s grant strategy and opportunity pipeline, discerning alignment with mission, capacity, and calling
  • Ensure excellence in donor operations, including oversight of CRM systems, data integrity, reporting, and performance analytics, as an act of faithful stewardship
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors, equipping leaders to confidently and joyfully engage in fundraising as shared ministry and responsibility
  • Champion organizational storytelling and donor communications, clearly articulating the redemptive work God is doing through PB414 and its initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and program leaders to ensure development efforts are integrated, aligned, and mission-forward
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead development staff, interns, and volunteers, cultivating a healthy, high-performing team grounded in purpose, growth, and service
  • Monitor fundraising performance, report outcomes, and continually refine strategies to strengthen sustainability, generosity, and long-term impact
  • Carry out additional executive-level responsibilities as needed in support of PB414’s mission, values, and strategic priorities
Who You Are
  • 2+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or donor relations
  • A confident relationship-builder and compelling storyteller
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly organized, strategic, and goal-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities with excellence
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Spiritually grounded with a growing relationship with Jesus
  • Aligned with PB414’s mission to cultivate redemptive, marketplace-driven initiatives
