Job Details

Our staffing agency is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for one of our clients in Springdale, Arkansas. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong mechanical and electrical background who can troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of production equipment and facility systems. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in supporting plant operations, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting industrial equipment, and maintaining facilities as assigned. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities, and the capacity to serve as a go-to technical resource within the plant. The Maintenance Technician must also adhere to customer-specific requirements and safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and plant systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment as needed to support production
  • Maintain plant facilities and equipment as assigned
  • Assist in identifying and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Serve as a technical expert in maintenance within the plant
  • Complete required documentation and comply with any relevant customer-specific requirements
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as mills, lathes, welders, drill presses, bandsaws, grinders, and forklifts
  • Collaborate with production and management teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience or 5 years of manufacturing experience required
  • Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
  • Hands-on experience with industrial equipment operation, including mills, lathes, welders, drill presses, bandsaws, grinders, and forklifts
  • Computer literate, including experience with AS400 and CMS systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to follow technical procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team
