Community Outreach Specialist II - Springdale
Arisa Health is seeking a Community Outreach Specialist II to provide training to the community in Springdale, AR. The role involves developing and implementing trainings for staff and community on working with clients in the school-based community, sharing ideas with the Director of Child Services to improve care access and expand outreach activities, and providing behavioral health intervention services as authorized within the treatment plan under supervision of a mental health professional.
Services may be delivered in various settings directed by the treatment plan.
The position includes psycho-educational and curriculum-based skills training covering topics such as parenting, school problems, positive discipline, communication skills, life skills, alcohol/drug education, appropriate expression of emotion, and empathy training for first and second generation families.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- Previous experience in case management, crisis management, skills building, and curriculum-based social skills
- Current Arkansas Non-terminal license (LAC, LMSW)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Self‑motivated, organized, able to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team
