Patient Service Representative, FT, Days - Springdale

Join us as a Patient Service Representative (PSR)  PSR serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and seamless experience through effective front‑desk operations and workflow management.

Overview

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for greeting patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner; scheduling and confirming appointments; updating patient records; processing registration and billing documentation; maintaining accurate and confidential patient information in accordance with privacy policies; and assisting in managing front‑desk workflow during unexpected situations.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, update patient records, and process registration and billing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient information in accordance with privacy policies.
  • Assist in managing front‑desk workflow and providing support during unexpected situations.
  • Attend and complete Clinic Core Front Desk Training after hire.
Qualifications
  • Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills & Knowledge – Strong verbal and written communication; basic computer proficiency (data entry, word processing); excellent customer service skills; empathy and patient‑focused approach.
  • Physical Requirements – Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; standing and walking during each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
  • Experience – At least one year of applicable medical office experience.
