Job DetailsPricing & Cost Analyst
About the RoleWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Pricing & Cost Analyst to join our Finance team, supporting Sales with accurate and competitive pricing. This role will own the quoting process, respond to RFPs, and establish standardized pricing models with volume discount structures. The ideal candidate understands manufacturing cost drivers (materials, labor, overhead) and can translate that knowledge into accurate, profitable quotes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage accurate price quotations and proposals for new and existing products.
- Partner with Sales to support RFP responses, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing.
- Establish and maintain standard pricing models, including quantity‑based discount structures.
- Analyze product costing, margins, and profitability to align with strategic financial goals.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to bring consistency to pricing decisions.
- Develop sales and margin reports to support leadership decisions.
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis for pricing strategy, sales planning, and financial forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in pricing analysis, cost accounting, or sales finance within manufacturing (food manufacturing strongly preferred).
- Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills;
Power BI, SQL, or ERP experience is a plus. - Proven ability to evaluate cost structures and pricing strategies with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills; able to partner effectively with Sales and Finance leaders.
