Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Process Engineering Manager to join our innovative engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional to own the Surface Mount Technology process in our cutting-edge circuit board plant.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage process improvement projects to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Develop and implement manufacturing processes by studying product requirements.
3. Apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials to improve manufacturing efficiency.
4. Identify, propose, and implement capital expenditures (Cap Ex) projects to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that processes align with the overall company objectives.
6. Implement testing procedures and manage the documentation to ensure that all processes meet the company's quality standards.
7. Oversee facilities management, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and adhere to safety standards.
8. Use Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
9. Manage a small team of Facilities Techs to ensure operation is running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required. A Master's degree or MBA will be considered an advantage.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering/manufacturing industry, preferably aerospace.
3. Expertise and ability to own Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process.
4. Strong knowledge of process improvement techniques and methodologies.
5. Must have demonstrated experience leading teams.
6. Facilities management experience is a must.
7. Cap Ex experience is a must.
