Customer Service Representative

Eco Fishing Shop is a leading kayak fishing and outdoor gear retailer, serving passionate anglers across the country. We pride ourselves on expert support, fast communication, and creating lifelong customers—not just transactions.

This is a part‑time role with variable hours based on seasonality. The ideal candidate is comfortable adapting to changing workloads and enjoys fast‑paced customer interactions.

• Peak Season (March–September): ~30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–2:00pm CST
• Off Season (October–February): ~20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–12:00pm CST

As Eco Fishing Shop continues to grow, this role may evolve into a full‑time position for the right person.

• Handle high call volume inbound customer service inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Assist customers via phone, email, and chat with orders, product questions, shipping updates, and post‑purchase support
• Provide an exceptional customer experience focused on happiness, trust, and long‑term retention
• Navigate and manage orders within Shopify
• Log and manage customer interactions using CRM systems
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and accurately
• Maintain a calm, friendly demeanor even during busy peak‑season days

• Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a high call volume environment
• Strong communication skills with a warm, personable phone presence
• Experience using Shopify is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and customer support tools
• Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable multitasking
• A genuine desire to help customers and represent the Eco Fishing Shop brand positively
• Experience in e‑commerce, outdoor, or fishing‑related industries is a plus (but not required)

• $17–$20 per hour, based on experience
