Performance Expectations for the Tax Accountant:

• Prepare Tax Returns
• Prepare some light accounting work
• Review Tax Returns (DOE)
• Compilations
• Develop client relationships

Experience/Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent
• Master's Degree (Not required)
• CPA Eligible
• CPA (Preferred)
• A minimum of 4-7 years of proven experience in public accounting.
• Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
• Must have strong multi-tasking skills
• Must have strong leadership skills
• Must be willing to work >40 hours per week during busy season
• Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation for the Tax Accountant:

• Benefits: SEP plan & Major Holiday's Paid
• 12 days of PTO/ year
• Strong work and life balance
• 2 Bonuses per year
• No more than 60hrs/ week during busy season
