Field Sales Representative - D2D (Permanent Lighting) We’re building a high-standard, high-performance door-to-door sales team focused on selling premium, permanent exterior lighting to homeowners across the Houston area. Permanent exterior lighting is a retail, home-upgrade product that homeowners choose for convenience, aesthetics, and long-term value. The sales cycle is short, the product is visual, and decisions are often made same-day or within the same week

Responsibilities
  • Represent the company professionally in assigned Houston-area neighborhoods. You are the face of a premium home-upgrade brand. Appearance, communication, and conduct matter.
  • Canvass targeted residential areas door-to-door
  • Engage homeowners confidently, start conversations naturally, and create interest without pressure.
  • Educate homeowners on permanent exterior lighting. Clearly explain the product’s features, benefits, and long-term value using visual demos and real examples.
  • Present pricing and financing options. Walk homeowners through straightforward pricing and available payment options to support confident decision-making.
  • Close sales or set short-term follow-ups. Drive same-day or same-week decisions while maintaining a positive, professional customer experience.
  • Manage daily activity independently. Plan routes, track progress, and maintain consistent effort without micromanagement.
  • Maintain accurate records. Log customer interactions, notes, and closed deals using company systems.
  • Coordinate with internal support teams. Communicate clearly with scheduling and operations to ensure smooth installs and a great customer experience.
  • Uphold company standards. Follow approved sales processes, ethical guidelines, and brand expectations at all times.
  • Continuously improve performance. Participate in training, feedback sessions, and coaching to sharpen skills and increase results.
Qualifications
  • Proven door-to-door or outside sales experience. (Home services, retail D2D, or field sales required).
  • Comfortable selling face-to-face. Able to confidently engage homeowners, handle objections, and ask for the sale.
  • Strong communication skills. Clear, professional, and personable with a wide range of homeowners.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined. Able to manage time, routes, and activity without constant supervision.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor. Comfortable representing a higher-end brand in established neighborhoods.
  • Reliable transportation and a smartphone. Required for daily canvassing, communication, and tracking activity.
  • Ability to work flexible hours. Including daytime and early evenings as needed.
Compensation

$70,000 - $108,000 per year
