Orthopedic Associate Sales Representative

Join to apply for the Orthopedic Associate Sales Representative role at Arthrex Sales Agencies.

The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals within their territory, building customer relationships, and maintaining expert knowledge of Arthrex products. The role involves consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding product use and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory, working with surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships and develop sales strategies.
  • Communicate product updates, changes, and educational programs to customers.
  • Implement sales plans and marketing strategies to meet objectives.
  • Cross-sell products and manage new product introductions.
  • Address account issues and support compliance and ethical standards.
  • Receive coaching and training, and transfer knowledge to peers.
  • Maintain training in sales skills and product features.
  • Collect competitive data and stay current on industry trends.
  • Attend sales and professional meetings as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years in orthopedics or related field; sports experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
  • Comfortable in operating room environments.
  • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and protocols.
  • Ability to learn technical information related to surgery.
  • Prior sales experience is a plus.
Skills and Training
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to create effective business plans.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
  • Sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, and independence.
  • Adherence to compliance policies.
