$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including system start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring floor and stock rooms are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door of store for deliveries.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including greeting, eye contact, courtesy, proactive help, identifying needs, and servicing until satisfied.
• Hold store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
• Assist and coach team members with warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening backdoor for vendor deliveries.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
• Assist manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions on order release day and in reverse logistics (e.g., returns, empty packages).
• Assist in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities across departments, stockroom, and overstock locations.
• Assist in ensuring the Outdate program is followed.
• Handle basic department pricing and daily price changes; ensure proper signage and compliance with local regulations.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments as necessary.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition; request repairs as needed.
• Separate food items and manage product placement per policies; assist with stock rotation using first-in, first-out method.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assist at Pharmacy over window as requested.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Conduct bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by manager.

• Serve as liaison between management and non-management team members, communicating tasks when store management is absent.
• Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Consideration of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
