Parking Lot Attendant – H-E-B

H-E-B seeks energetic and motivated partners to serve our customers before they even enter the store. You will handle carts, perform sanitation duties, and provide customer assistance. This entry‑level, part‑time position is available in Houston, TX.

• Collect and return carts from the parking lot.
• Remove trash from carts before returning them to storage.
• Clean and remove debris from landscaping and front‑elevation areas.
• Maintain overall store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Relocate carts or basket items for department setup.
• Retrieve red baskets and inform the Front End Manager of supply needs.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide general assistance.
• Work in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment and perform tasks with a store‑wide mindset.

• Ability to work hard, outdoors, and in extreme temperatures.
• Capacity to repeatedly stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Stay aware of customer needs while performing routine tasks.
• Commitment to quality and customer service.

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, pull, push, reach, squat.
• Frequently exposed to hot or cold outdoor temperatures.
• Lift objects up to 20 lbs as needed.
• Work 5.5–8 hour shifts, with some days requiring 2.5–5.5 hour blocks of physical labor.
