We are looking for an Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Texas Oncology Woodlands location. This position is Monday‑Friday, no weekends or holidays, and no on‑call responsibilities.

Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for oncology patients, adhering to national and company standards. The RN demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental differences across patient populations and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for assessment and therapeutic management.

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
• Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status, medical history, and patient/family needs; provide teaching, instructional materials, and psychosocial support.
• Facilitate clinical operations and patient care: manage medication refill requests, schedule consultations and diagnostic tests, triage patient phone calls, document information, and coordinate services.
• Assist patients in locating community resources.
• Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Hold an active RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Meet continuing education requirements.
• Entry level – 0 to 3 years nursing experience; oncology experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience; oncology experience strongly preferred.
• For Senior level, in addition to Levels I and II: minimum five (5) years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology; oncology certification preferred.

Typical oncology/hematology clinic environment; possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations. Requires full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods, and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for disability.
