Eni Healthcare is looking for an ambitious Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant , with the drive and experience to help us make a difference to those that we serve every day. For this role, Nurse Practitioner, Physician assistant is required to exam patients, review labs and prescribe medication utilizing the EClinical EMR. Full time position available for Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant in Internal Medicine in The Woodlands Texas

- Medical assessment of patients through chart review along with history and physical examination
- Treatment and assessment plan
- Prescribe and monitor medications
- Order diagnostic tests, interpret the results and initiate appropriate follow up.
- Order referral to specialists and cordinate patient care
- patients education to enhance their understanding
- Chart documentation on E Clinical EMR

QUALIFICATIONS AND
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1 year prior experience
- Certified FNP/ Adult NP
- Current Texas registered nurse license
- Ability to make independent decisions about patient care
- Experience diagnosing and treating patient
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patient
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations
- Participates in continuing education programs/activities and maintains all requirements for state re-licensure and national certification as nurse practitioner and nursing
- Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice
- Maintains detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions
Patient Care in the Office and Telehealth:
- Returns patient phone messages at designated times throughout the day; documents action taken in patient chart
- Reviews lab and imaging results prior to entering patient exam room
- Ensure that documentation supports the billed service
Room patients in absence of medical assistant:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
