Plasma Center Technician – English/Spanish Speaking at Bio Life Plasma Services

USA – TX – Spring
Hourly wage: $16.00 (subject to local minimum wage)
Responsibilities- Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on their experience while ensuring safety of donors and team.
- Screen new and repeat donors; take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
- Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures.
- Be available for a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift light items up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs., rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Due to potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level
1), 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear. - 1 or more years minimum experience in a customer or patient-facing role (helpful).
