Exxon Mobil's state‑of‑the‑art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team

Corporate Brand Marketing is a dynamic team dedicated at improving Exxon Mobil’s reputation by driving positive reappraisal among business leaders and government entities. As part of the Exxon Mobil’s Public and Government Affairs (P&GA) division, we play a crucial role in shaping our public image and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. We support our mission to ensure Exxon Mobil is viewed as an important, respected and trusted global company that works to improve society and quality of life.

We are seeking a talented Paid Media Senior Advisor to join our P&GA Corporate Brand Marketing team. The ideal candidate will lead media strategy, media planning and execution in support of Corporate Brand Marketing campaigns and efforts. This media role is pivotal in supporting shaping and extending Exxon Mobil’s public perception and creating awareness of our new solutions in the Energy transition space.

This person will help manage reputational risk and amplifying our thought leadership and company’s position across traditional, digital, and emerging media platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep media expertise, a data‑driven approach based on analytics and a strong understanding of brand marketing, upper‑funnel long‑term KPIs and corporate communications. This candidate must be able to navigate complex stakeholder environments in a matrixed organization.

What

You Will Do
  • Develop and implement integrated media plans that support Exxon Mobil’s Corporate/Public & Government Affairs goals and corresponding marketing initiatives
  • Partner with teams across P&GA’s Communications, Government Relations, Legal, Investor Relations and other lines of business marketing teams to align media strategies with business priorities and reputational goals
  • Lead the planning and execution of media campaigns
