Northside Lexus is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Reconditioning Specialist
to join our Collision Center team. Under the leadership of the Collision Center Manager, this role is responsible for restoring Pre-Owned Vehicles vehicles to factory-standard quality and ensuring every repaired vehicle exceeds our guests’ expectations.
This position plays a critical role in delivering the luxury-level finish and craftsmanship our Northside Lexus customers expect.
Essential Functions- Report for work at assigned time(s); leave at assigned time(s).
- Paint assigned vehicles according to approved estimates from pre‑own department.
- Prepare and mix paint colors accurately to match factory finish.
- Coordinate with the pre‑own management team the expected timelines for vehicle repairs.
- Produce acceptable repairs that are in agreement with the standards agreed by the pre‑own management.
- Maintain and properly safeguard all shop painting tools and equipment.
- Work safely.
- Comply with all safety rules particularly those dealing with working in confined spaces, paint booths, or in service pits.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe storage room, mixing room, and working area.
- Use shop equipment and tools safely.
- Wear required personal protective equipment: breathing apparatus, clothing, footwear, gloves, masks, safety glasses, etc.
- Dispose of paints, paint containers, and any hazardous wastes properly.
- Report all accidents immediately.
- Assist other associates as needed and/or directed by management.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus one to two years of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prefer a secondary level of technical education (Trade School); not required
Must have a valid Driver's License
