Essential Functions
  • Ensure parts are coated to customer specifications.
  • Comply with safety and quality procedures.
  • Report injuries, accidents, and near misses.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Review work orders and blueprints to confirm specifications.
  • Start, operate, and shut down coating equipment including applicator, booth, curing ovens, preheat ovens, crane, and forklift.
  • Perform minor maintenance such as changing nozzles.
  • Inspect work visually and report defective items.
  • Maintain production rate while meeting quality standards.
  • Willing to cross train in other areas as needed.
  • Spray surfaces with spray gun and clean surfaces with solvents.
Experience
  • 0-2 years of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fasteners industry experience preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED;
    Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to adjust to changes while maintaining quality.
  • Complete physical exams as required.
  • Basic math, measurement, and mechanical aptitude test; tape measure skills.
  • Shift schedule and overtime including weekends.
  • Self-motivated team player with attention to detail.
Physical Demands
  • Manually load/unload pallets up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth, focus adjustment.
  • Manual dexterity: reach, grab, lift, hammer.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing warehouse environment with multi-step process runs.
  • Noise level:
    Moderate to high.
  • Temperature variable with seasons.
