Job Title: Groundskeeper

Salary: $16 to $18 per hour

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparation of market‑ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies: snow removal, inclement weather, fires, floods.
• Clean available apartments, model homes, and common areas as directed.
• Address maintenance concerns related to inclement weather.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining highest cleanliness and curb appeal standards, interacting courteously with residents.
• Preserve and respect confidentiality of applicants and residents.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, other properties, and agencies.
• Immediately report any maintenance or life‑safety issues identified.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Professional appearance and compliance with uniform policy.
• Compliance with all safety requirements.
• Required to complete and pass Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days.
• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt, and operate a commercial snow blower.
