Job Title: Groundskeeper
Salary: $16 to $18 per hour

- Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
- Assist in preparation of market‑ready units.
- Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
- Assist with property emergencies: snow removal, inclement weather, fires, floods.
- Clean available apartments, model homes, and common areas as directed.
- Address maintenance concerns related to inclement weather.
- Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining highest cleanliness and curb appeal standards, interacting courteously with residents.
- Preserve and respect confidentiality of applicants and residents.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, other properties, and agencies.
- Immediately report any maintenance or life‑safety issues identified.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and current auto insurance.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to use general office equipment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Professional appearance and compliance with uniform policy.
- Compliance with all safety requirements.
- Required to complete and pass Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days.
- Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt, and operate a commercial snow blower.
