Transactional Paralegal – Business, Commercial Real Estate & Finance
Full-Time | Onsite | Spring / The Woodlands, TX
Compensation: $70-83K, bonus-eligible, and paid benefits
A growing Texas-based law firm is seeking an experienced Transactional Paralegal to support a busy business and real estate practice. This role supports attorneys advising companies, investors, and lenders on sophisticated corporate, commercial real estate, and financing transactions.
This is a full-time, onsite position offering flexibility in schedule, competitive compensation, and a strong benefits package, including employer-paid health coverage and a retirement plan with matching.
ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Corporate Matters
- Assist with entity formations, reorganizations, and governance for corporations, LLCs, and partnerships
- Draft, organize, and manage contracts, resolutions, and transaction-related documentation
- Maintain corporate records and support ongoing compliance requirements
- Prepare and manage closing checklists and closing binders
Commercial Real Estate & Finance
- Support real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development transactions
- Assist with lender-side and borrower-side financing matters
- Review and organize title, survey, and due diligence materials
- Coordinate transaction closings with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel
- Prepare and file UCC financing statements and conduct UCC searches
General Support
- Track deadlines and manage multiple active matters independently
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical files in accordance with firm procedures
- Communicate professionally with clients and third parties
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff across practice areas
Required
- 5+ years of experience supporting transactional or business law matters
- Direct experience with commercial real estate and finance transactions
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Texas paralegal certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Familiarity with document and practice management systems
