Title: Sr. AI Engineer/Data Scientist
Location: Spring, TX (Hybrid - 3 days onsite in 77389)
Duration: Direct-Hire

• Strong experience in GenAI and LLMsis key for this position.
• 5 years of professional experience in an enterprise environment is required.

• Design, build, and deliver production-grade Generative AI systems, with a strong emphasis on agentic AI, autonomous workflows, and multi-agent architectures.
• Architect and implement end-to-end intelligent systems leveraging large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
• Develop AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, tool use, memory management, and action execution to support complex business workflows and automation use cases.
• Build, test, and deploy scalable GenAI services using Python-based APIs, cloud-native architectures, and real-time inference pipelines.
• Apply advanced prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment of LLM-powered systems.
• Implement LLMOps and MLOps best practices, including versioning, monitoring, evaluation, governance, and CI/CD for AI systems in production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, digital, analytics, product, and business stakeholders) to translate requirements into robust AI-driven solutions.
• Integrate machine learning models where appropriate to complement GenAI capabilities, including predictive models, classifiers, and optimization techniques.
• Evaluate emerging GenAI frameworks, agentic platforms, and LLM technologies to drive innovation and continuously improve system performance.
• Support data-driven decision-making by delivering interpretable, traceable, and resilient AI solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists on GenAI architecture, AI engineering best practices, and responsible AI development.

• Deep hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic AI frameworks.
• Strong expertise in RAG architectures, vector databases, embedding strategies, and semantic search.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, with solid software engineering fundamentals and experience building scalable APIs and services.
• Experience implementing multi-agent workflows, tool/function calling, memory management, and orchestration of autonomous systems.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, model training, evaluation, and applied ML (now secondary to GenAI).
• Practical experience with MLOps / LLMOps, including deployment, monitoring, evaluation pipelines, and governance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI services (Azure preferred), including managed AI/ML services and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with pragmatic, production-ready AI solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills and an entrepreneurial mindset focused on experimentation, scalability, and business impact.

• 5+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Software Engineering, with recent hands-on focus on GenAI and LLM-based systems.
• Prior experience operating as a senior-level individual contributor on complex, production AI initiatives.

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Preferred: Master’s degree in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Microsoft or Linked In certifications in Generative AI
• Azure AI Fundamentals
• Azure AI Engineer Associate Other relevant AI, ML, or cloud certifications focused on applied and production AI systems
