Our client, an industry leader in energy and resource management, is seeking a UX-Designer - Lead to join their team. As a UX Designer Expert Level, you will be part of the Design and Innovation Department supporting the UX-Design team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: UX-Designer - Lead
Location: Spring, TX (100% On-site)
Pay Range: Market
Responsibilities- Lead a small team of UX designers and researchers, managing work intake, timelines, and resource needs.
- Design innovative, research-based solutions to complex technical challenges, enhancing user productivity and experience.
- Understand research findings and seamlessly incorporate insights into your design process.
- Communicate designs effectively through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to critique, standardize, and advance the technical design language.
- Proven experience leading small UX teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver business value through user experience design, supported by a professional portfolio.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills to support cross-disciplinary efforts.
- Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to various working environments.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or IT Operations is a plus, but not mandatory.
