Position: HR Coordinator (Spring, TX)

Summary

The HR Coordinator provides analytical, advisory, and compliance‑focused support across key human resources functions. This role supports HR programs, interprets policies, advises managers, and exercises independent judgment in decisions that impact employees and business operations. The HR Coordinator supports core HR processes, maintains HR systems—including Workday and the Learning Management System (LMS)—and contributes to initiatives that strengthen compliance, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.

Primary

Duties And Responsibilities HR Operations & Compliance
  • Administers core HR programs including FMLA/leave management, EEO reporting, I-9 compliance, hiring requirements, and policy audits.
  • Interprets federal, state, and local employment regulations and recommends policy updates to maintain compliance.
  • Handles sensitive employee information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Makes independent decisions within established HR frameworks and escalates issues only when necessary.
HR Systems & Workday Administration
  • Maintains and updates employee data in Workday, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with HR standards.
  • Generates, analyzes, and distributes Workday reports related to headcount, turnover, compensation, compliance, and other HR metrics.
  • Supports troubleshooting, security requests, and process improvements within Workday.
Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Oversees LMS administration including course assignments, completions, reporting, and documentation.
  • Ensures training compliance by monitoring required learning, auditing records, and partnering with managers to resolve gaps.
  • Supports content updates, user support, and LMS process improvements.
Employee & Manager Support
  • Provides guidance to employees on benefits, payroll, leave, learning, I-9 processing, and HR policies.
  • Advises managers on policy interpretation and HR procedures, offering case‑by‑case recommendations when exceptions arise.
  • Screens candidates using established criteria and recommends qualified candidates for further consideration.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyzes workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; presents insights to HR leadership.
  • Develops and maintains HR dashboards, metrics, and reports that inform business decisions.
  • Participates in compensation reviews by analyzing internal equity, market data, and job responsibilities.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Leads assigned HR projects such as policy rollouts, engagement initiatives, and process redesign.
  • Evaluates HR processes and recommends improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, or employee experience.

    Partners with HR leadership to support workforce planning, organizational changes, and talent initiatives.
  • Willingness to learn and support additional HR functions as needed.
  • Occasional travel required.

This role may be required to support other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; OR at least 2 years of direct HR experience with analytical and advisory responsibilities.
  • Proven proficiency with Workday (HCM, reporting, business processes, or security preferred).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
